En Ethiopie, tout homme ou toute femme de la ville ou de la campagne
connait des contes et se souvient avec nostalgie de ces moments magiques
où il s'évadait du réel et écoutait des récits extraordinaires.
Voici un petit aperçu de nos soirées "contes" : l'Histoire de l'Humanité :
Quand Dieu créa le monde, il voulut faire une créature parfaite, à son image.
Il façonna une statue en argile, prépara le feu et la mit à cuire.
Comme il était impatient, il la sortit mais trop tôt ! elle était toute pâle !
Il lança la statue au loin et elle alla retomber en Europe.
Le premier homme blanc était né !
Sans se décourager, puisqu'il était Dieu !
il fit un deuxième homme et cette fois-ci,
il attendit mais malheureusement trop longtemps !
Le petit bonhomme sortit tout noir et quasiment brûlé.
Alors Dieu le lança et il retomba en Afrique.
Le premier homme noir était né !
Dieu reprit de l'argile et confectionna avec soin une troisième statue
et il surveilla bien le feu, le degré de cuisson, le temps
et il sortit du four un homme d'une belle couleur caramel
et Dieu le déposa en Ethiopie !
Ethiopia, any man or woman from the city or the countryside
tales knows and remembers with nostalgia of those magical moments
where he escaped from reality and listened extraordinary stories.
